Monique Bobadilla is a seasoned executive leader with over two decades of experience across various industries including Biotech, Pharmaceutical, and Tech. As our Chief People Officer, Monique brings a wealth of expertise in fostering collaborative cultures, building high-performing teams, and driving strategic initiatives that enhance employee engagement and organizational success.
Throughout her career, Monique has demonstrated exceptional problem-solving abilities and a customer-focused approach to building positive relationships between People & Culture functions and organizations. Her strategic mindset coupled with her extensive business knowledge, experience in talent acquisition, operational excellence, and workforce planning has enabled her to develop and execute comprehensive people strategies that align with business objectives.
Prior to joining Frontier Medicines, Monique served as a People and Culture Leader at Encoded Therapeutics and Genentech, where she played a pivotal role in leadership team development, talent acquisition, performance management, organizational design, and compensation strategies.
Monique's commitment to creating inclusive workplaces is evident in her involvement with various organizations and initiatives outside of her professional responsibilities. She is a co-founder of the Maximize Meaningful Education (M2E) Foundation, which aims to impact children's lives and communities through education across Africa. Additionally, she has served on the board of Solutions for Change and the Joe and Mary Mottino YMCA, demonstrating her dedication to giving back to the community.
Monique holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and has pursued management and human resource certificate programs from Harvard University Extension and San Diego State University, respectively. She is also an active member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) in San Francisco.
